Learn to paint landscapes filled with light and atmosphere, in plein air or in the studio. We’ll cover key principles that create the illusion of depth, tips for painting authentic-looking sunlight and shadows, and understanding color temperature. You will gain confidence in capturing light by increasing your understanding of how light behaves. This workshop is for all levels of acrylic, oil and pastel painters. It begins with a teaching and demonstration, then the participants can work on their own painting with plenty of one-on-one instruction and encouragement.
